By mail or in person. Mail registration form by Monday, December 24 or print out an APPLICATION
and take it to the race site an hour before the
beginning of the event.
Events:
Marathon 26.2 miles, Half marathon 13.1 miles, 50K 31 miles.
Course description:
2.03 mile loop. Marathon 13 loops. Half 6
loops plus out and back. 50K 15 loops plus out and back. Run counter clockwise on a
flat paved jogging trail. Click here for Course Map Course Certfication: Pending, but will be certifed
by race day.
Directions:
Parking by the tennis court or along jogging trail on War
Memorial Drive.
Race day registration:
At the park starting one hour before the event each day.
Bear Creek Park, 3535 War Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77084. Race day
registration will be available if the race has not filled - please print out an APPLICATION
to speed up the process.
Packet Pickup:
Near the start line between 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM on race day.
Weather:
Temperatures may vary from 55-75 degrees.
Race limit:
100 participants Check your
registration. No race day
registration.
Time Limit:
8 hours. This event is walker and velocity challenged
participant friendly.
T-shirts:
Register by 12/15 to guarantee your shirt size.
Pre-race Announcements:
10 minutes before the start. AT THE STARTING
LINE.
Aid Stations:
Every 2.01 miles at the start/finish line. There will be water,
Gatorade, pretzels, bananas and cookies available. Toilets are located near the
start/finish line.
Bag Drop:
There will be a drop bag location area near the starting line.
Awards:
Everyone receives a finisher medal.
Post race:
Rest up for you New Year's Eve party.
Results:
