By mail or in person. Mail registration form by Wednesday, December 14. The only
exception is if you have pre-reserved your spot with the race director, but you must have
a signed APPLICATION
and cash if you have pre-reserved. The race is limited.
Events:
Marathon only (26.2 miles).
Course description:
Three mile loop run eight times, with shorter out and back at
the end. Certification number TX11186ETM
Directions:
Please park in the lot next to the rowing club and across from
the Southwest Airlines mainenance center (turn onto Webb Chapel - NOT Webb Chapel
Extension), turn right on Shore Crest Drive, go about 1 mile and lot is on the right.
Race day registration:
No race day registration unless you have pre-reserved a spot by
emailing the race director. Must have signed APPLICATION
and cash.Weather:
Temperatures may vary from 50-75 degrees.
Race limit:
10-15 participants Check your
registration.
Time Limit:
This event is walker and velocity challenged participant
friendly.
T-shirts:
None.
Pre-race Announcements:
10 minutes before the start. AT THE STARTING
LINE.
Aid Stations:
There will be water, Gatorade, pretzels, and bananas available
once per loop. Toilets are located near the start/finish line.
Bag Drop:
There will be a drop bag location area near the starting line.
Awards:
Everyone receives a finisher medal.
Post race:
Rest up for the next day's event and go Christmas shopping for
the race directors.
Results:
Finishing results will be available on the website.
