Finishing Procedure
When you have your upcoming completion of the 50 states planned, please let the club know
so that we can post your upcoming finish on the web site. batzrunner@aol.com
Please mail or e-mail batzrunner@aol.com or beth.eddiesfan@gmail.com a list of the races
you completed in each of the 50 states with the name of the race, location, date and your
finish time so that we can produce your complimentary finisher award**. We cannot
produce your trophy without the list. You may send this list when you have at least
45 states completed and have scheduled the remaining five. Members completing the
states for multiple times will need to provide lists for each
finish.
**The finisher award will be provided at no cost to all finishers
who are caught up on all dues and have been club members for more than two years
prior to their finish date. The finisher award may be purchased for $50
for all finishers who are caught up on all dues and have been club members for more
than one year but less than two years prior to their finish date. Finishers who
do not meet either of these requirements or are Lifetime Members may elect to purchase the award for

information on purchasing an award.
Additionally, if you'd like your finish "Certified" and to have
"Certified" printed on your finisher trophy, please make a hard copy of at least
one item of proof of completing each state:
*finishing results, www.marathonguide.com
results pages, race result books, result cards, etc.
*finishing certificate - Send a copy (photocopy) - Do not send the original - They will
not be returned.
*for races prior to 2000, medal AND race bib number (both are required if you choose this
option) - Send a copy (either photocopy or photo) - do not send the original - they will
not be returned.
Please do not send your documentation by e-mail or on a CD. We need a hard copy of
all items of proof. Please do not send original documents as they will not be returned.
Please keep your documentation until you have at least 45 states completed.
If you have trouble finding results from any of your races (especially prior to 2000)

The Verification Committee will then certify your finish. Certification is not
required, but it is an option many members choose. We will email a copy of the form
we use for certification that you may also use to list your marathons, locations, dates,
and finish times for your 50 states list required for your trophy. E-mail batzrunner@aol.com to request a copy of the form.

Once they certify your finish, it will be noted on the Web site and on your trophy as a
"certified finish". We will mail your trophy to you as soon as we receive
it. Then, you can take your trophy to any reunion marathon and have it awarded to
you in front of the Club members.
You may want to order finisher merchandise ahead of time so that you can wear it as soon
